This Week at Busy Bee
Good Evening Everyone,
Hope you all enjoyed your long weekend. November is in full swing at Busy Bee and we are all starting to get prepared for the start of the holiday season. The classes begin this week with Letter T Week.
T is for Turkey, Thanksgiving and being Thankful.
This week the children will be finishing up a special Name Collage that will be part of our Thanksgiving Feast on November 27. We will also be focusing on Turkeys, the importance of Thanksgiving, being with family and what we are truly Thankful for!!!! The classes will also begin our annual keepsake Thanksgiving Placemats.
Busy Bee Thanksgiving Feast- Busy Bee will be hosting our very own Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday November 27 at 10:45. All children (morning and afternoon classes) will be invited to attend school at 9:00 that day. Families (siblings included) will be invited to join us at 10:45 for a small performance in your child's class. Afterwards, a feast will be set up in the gym. Beginning next Monday we will have sign up sheets for the things that are needed for the feast.
The Busy Bee Library- The children's early literacy development is such a part of our curriculum at school each day. Besides all the many literacy and phonological activities we do, creating an environment for children to love Story Time is a huge aspect of Busy Bee. Having a Library at school for children to borrow books from was a way we can achieve this. Unfortunately, the Busy Bee Library disappeared with COVID... but next week it will be returning!
Each class will have special day library days. When it is your child's classes library day, all children are invited to attend school that day. Each child will be given the opportunity to visit the library and borrow one book for a short period of time. Also parents will be invited to join us at 11:00 in the morning or 2:30 in the afternoon for a special story time led by your child's teacher.
Our initial library day will be next Wednesday November 20.
Miss Kristen's Class will have library in the morning at 11:00
Mr. Ric's Afternoon Class will have library in the afternoon at 2:30.
